Clovr acts as a data processor on behalf of its Clients. Clients are the data controllers responsible for their customers' personal data and for informing their customers that AI-assisted support is in use.
When end users interact with the Clovr chat assistant, we may collect:

All third party processors are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. Clovr does not authorize any third party processor to use Client or end user data for purposes beyond providing services to Clovr.
Conversation data for active Client accounts is retained for a rolling 12 month period. Before deletion, Clovr extracts and preserves anonymized insights and pattern summaries for ongoing service improvement.
Upon termination of a Client account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Clients may request an export of their data before deletion.
Clients requiring longer data retention for compliance or legal purposes may request extended retention as a paid service add-on.
Clovr maintains industry-standard security practices for all stored data including encrypted storage, access controls, and secure transmission protocols. Clovr staff access to Client data is limited to what is necessary to provide support services.
In the event of a data breach affecting Client or end user data, Clovr will notify affected Clients within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach.
Although Clovr is headquartered in Utah, our Clients may serve customers located in the European Union or California. To the extent applicable:

By providing your phone number and consenting to receive text messages from Clovr or Clovr-powered services, you agree to receive SMS messages related to customer support and onboarding assistance. The following terms apply to all SMS communications:
SMS support is available on Growth and Scale service tiers only. Phone numbers collected through SMS interactions are stored securely and subject to the same data retention and security practices described in this policy.
Clovr's website at getclovr.com does not currently use tracking cookies or analytics tools. If analytics tools are implemented in the future, this policy will be updated and visitors will be notified. Any such tools will be listed here when implemented.
Clovr's services are intended for businesses and their adult customers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that a minor has submitted personal data through our platform, we will delete it promptly.
Clovr may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Clients will be notified of material changes via email or their dedicated Slack channel. Continued use of Clovr services following notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The current version is always available at getclovr.com.
